Gremlins gone. All working.
The two problems I've had since getting my truck 4 days ago, no DRLs and ambient lights stuck on blue, are both resolved. Didn't do anything, they just worked this morning. Maybe letting it sit without screwing around with the settings allowed it to "reset" itself. Sort of like turning a computer completely off and having glitches resolved. So at least for now all is good. Thanks to all for your replies.

Like I said, Microsoft. We used to joke that if they made vehicles we'd have to stop on the freeway each day and roll the windows down and then up. And, now they make an appreciable part of a bunch of vehicles.
