Additional help needed please

I did the V springs up front Anti Sway in the rear. She is deffinately squatting a little. I roll with my tools so that may be adding to the 12 year old wimpy to begin with springs. I'd like to know what my best option is to even it off. I can't do it myself due to my back. (The Anti Swayknocked the crap out of me) The spring shop will or in whatever springs I want. .but mods are probably out of the question.

Thank you all!

Cheapest way, replace rear blocks to F350 blocks. Gains you 1.5 inches.
Second way ad RAS gains from .75 to 1 inch are common.
Third add airbags to rear gains up to 2 inches when filled.
Fourth Add a leaf to rears.
All of these options are pretty easy, most anyone can do for you.

The RAS is a good idea especially with all the weight in the back. However, I don't think I would just go with new blocks, as that does nothing to help those old saggy springs... All new springs, or even a mild lift with new springs can be a good setup if the money is there. I love my 4" BDS all spring lift, and can't hardly imagine anything else.

Plenty on here with F350 blocks and are fine with them. My previous ex for one had both RAS and the blocks.
Russ Alaskan Ex, has had success with the blocks also.
This is not the best solutions but all are safe to use.

I definitely want to replace the rear springs. I am hoping there is an upgraded spring that can go in Amma level her off without major mods to the spring pack. I have no problem using the original blocks or changing them. Just looking for the straight up swap. Maybe using the Excursion springs, just new is the answer? I was hoping someone had done this. I'm not looking fid the lift other than to level it off.

Just thought I'd throw in a pic of her handling the 9'2 DXT with V springs. I was nervous, but happy in the end.

If it is a true spring shop, they should have no problem doing the mod. It is just mixing and matching different springs from two factory ford set of springs to combine one spring.

If they won't, consider a different source or see if they will re arch them and use an add a leaf.

In my opinion airbags absolutely suck ba*** if you are using them to level your ride in normal driving circumstances, towing or an occasional load inside, yes. But not for your purpose.

My 2 cents. And I have extensive airbag experience.

Replacing the rear springs with new, but stock replacements is definitely not the answer.

You need a stiffer, more supportive spring. That will get you the 1.5" or so.
And then it won't squat as easily.

To clarify, have you asked them to do the modded rears yet or just assume they won't?

I totally agree as far as the air bag option. I've used them on my broncos for plowing in years past. Great when they had weight on them. ..not so much after the plow was off. I may go that route up front for the plow. In the rear I was hoping there a certain spring...throw it in. ..done! Level and hopefully an upgrade To the capacity. Maybe just new OEM rears would work. According to the measurement isaw the V's up front were like 5/16" (unweighted) larger than the original front factory ones. (If I remember correctly )

Just assuming right now. Going by the response I got when I talked about going to the X springs instead of the V. They were giving me some push back. I think it was more for their liability than anything. They did say they had done stuff like this before and the owners had then remove them 2 days later. (They made an additional call to make sure I knew I owned this.) So I'm sure that played into it too.

If your spring shop doesn't want to do any mod work (odd, but whatever....) then here's the deal with the heavier Super Duty (the Ford pickup trucks, not the aftermarket spring supplier....) rear springs. Both the B and C code rears alone in their stock configuration will provide just about exactly the same ride height as the EX stock springs, but they have much better capacities and compression rates. The "mod" that lots of us do to these springs was developed by our EXcursion ancestors way back when to add the additional thickness to these spring packs to equal using the taller F-350 tapered blocks in place of the stock EX blocks, it's a cost saving mod as it doesn't really add anything strength wise to the springs. So with modding out of the question a swap to B or C code springs with the taller F-350 tapered blocks will get you about 1.5"-1.75" more ride height and better load handling and towing support.
If you think you need or want more than that much extra lift then you'll need to add RAS to the above mix, use taller aftermarket blocks, have the shop do an add-a-leaf (which is the exact same as the "mod", or go with aftermarket "lift springs" that can ofer 4" or 6" of all spring lift.
