07 A/C issues
07 Sport Trac, Limited, 4x4, V8, dual climate control, 115,547 miles. Runs great, a/c indicates full charge, cools great at low rpms. Higher rpms and the a/c tends to fluctuate between cold and cool.....not hot, but close to warm. Let it idle again and it will freeze you out. Temp settings do make a difference but still tends to run warm and cold at higher rpms. Same thing when in the manual settings. Has nothing to do with the a/c cutout on hard acceleration as the compressor is staying on during the problem time period.
No noises that would indicate vacuum issues. All air diversion selections work as they should.
I am wondering how the a/c monitors the temp settings to mix the air for warmer settings.
Feels like it has low freon but the gauges indicate full so I am lost.
