This weeks problems...Thermostat, echaust and shaking.
Few fairly big issues to sort out this week.
First off, replacing my thermostat and thermostat housing, which I understand to be 3 bolts and swap them out.
Secondly, my exhaust is falling apart. I broke a hanger in the rear, and now my exhaust is broken off at the cat, but it looks like it just slides back in? any advice would be great!
Third, when I'm in 5th doing between 40 and 55 my truck vibrates like hell. It's never done this before.

A thermostat and housing is a straight-forward job. Use a 195 degree thermostat. Don't overtighten the bolts.
The exhaust system is welded together. I have a local shop here that does nothing but exhaust work, and does custom work. He's very good.
Vibration? Tires? balance? Front end alignment? Lots of If's here.

They make clamps for exhaust pipes... Your pipe sections need to be made to slip onto the other sections of pipe so you have something for the pipe clamps to compress. If you're trying to put the old pipe back on after it broke off the converter, then no, it won't work.
