Water pump question
Hello All, i'm in the process of rebuilding a ford 302 for my project truck 76 F100. The motor is a 302 out of a 80 Ford Granada. Though the casting indicates the engine is a 74. Anyways, I went to purchase a water pump and was asked, clockwise or counter clockwise. And if I need a backing plate.
When I got the motor it didn't have a water pump so I have nothing to compare it to. Its a vbelt set up if that matters. Can someone help me out on what type of pump to buy.
