Ok, you gotta stop with the Facebook link posts. Not everyone has Facebook and we don't necessarily care for posts with just a link and nothing else.

I'm sure your intentions are good and there is a wealth of knowledge at the end of the cyber-link, but I can't read it...

I don't Facebook either.

Think about how FB works... as a participant, your online and off-line behavior is electronically monitored, harvested, and analyzed to build a profile. In turn, that profile is used to market goods and services back to your "type".

Btw, FB has 1.4 billion users worldwide.

precisely the reason I refuse to use it and block their domains on my home router. They track you even as a non-member.

I agree with you guys that it is nothing more than a profiling social site that largely revolves around psychological disorders and government monitoring.. Mine is only for the parents to keep up with the babies

Everything on the web is monitored don't kid yourself! I was thinking that this would help with FE novice builders.

Yep so why make it easy for them to connect the dots and just give it up so easily? I like my privacy. I take great pride in protecting it as people have given their lives up for that right.
If I wanted to live in a surveillance state I would move there, oh wait it moved in on me.
I get it; you don't give a crap which is why it's really out of hand these days.
Hard to explain it to the generation that would give the rights to their soul away for a starbucks

And everything you want to know about FE's is right here, no need to go anywhere else.

I was on FB, only lasted about a week. Used a different address and a coded name for safety, sure glad I did. Once and a while I'll go to a cafe and troll it to find old friends and do background checks. Never use the home computers or my address for security. I know jack squat about the internet and all the ways it can be used but it's amazing some of the info I find. Kind of scary knowing that on a scale of 1 to 10, that I'm a .1 in internet abilities.

Here's a really good website on Ford engines: DIY Ford - Do It Yourself Ford Projects

Go to the "Engine Tech" section and read, read, read.
