FT Dix, I have been there for some training. What a stellar place. There is a couple delivery joints out there that are decent.

Ultra proud daddy here says that my daughter will soon join the fold.

After being a member of the Va National Guard in Staunton, Va while attending Mary Baldwin College for the last four years, she will commission as an active duty 2nd LT on 15 May 2016 and will soon after attend Quartermaster school at Ft Lee, Va. From there, no one knows yet.

I was in the Army from January 1971 to January 1973 but didn't do anything exciting or unusual. I took basic training at Fort Polk, LA then clerk-typist AIT at Fort Dix, NJ then spent the rest of my time at Fort Benning, GA. Vietnam was winding down then and I guess they didn't need any clerk-typists over there...
