Posted I the super duty section and I received no help I was lookin for. I basically wanna possibly swap in 08 springs into my 2004 F350 and found a new take off set less than a half hour from me. Problem is I only have a few numbers off the springs that I can't find any info on and 2nd the springs are only a 3+1 setup not the normal 4+1 setup that a 08+ F250/350 should have?
-Yes I know the springs are different I'm buying the brackets to do the swap
-no my springs are perfect actually and I nodded them for extra payload. Just figured from what I've heard on here doing this swap really helps the ride and the longer springs are suppose to hold more weight
-I'll call the guy and see if he will give a complete stranger his vin.....
Well talked to the guy yesterday he said there are no other numbers on the springs and he's not comfortable with the vin# idea so it looks like I'm keeping the OEM springs. But thanks for all the help guys

That is too bad, wonder what he thinks someone could do with the vin?
Was on his site recently and saw the hangers were 'on sale' again and thought of you. Certainly ended any thought of ever doing this swap.
He was redesigning them, fwiw. He ended up refunding me an additional hundred bucks so I got them below cost. If they work like I've read in other reviews, I'll be satisfied. I might try and get em on this weekend. I'd just definitely call next time through and get a hard ship date before I sent money.
Ranger, are your '08 springs a 3+1 or 4+1 pack? Just curious as Scaler's set he found look like a decent set but are only a 3+1 pack, was wondering if the '08s were actually 3+1s and then Ford went back up to a 4+1 pack in '09 due to the squat the '08s were experiencing with heavier loads. (Thought I had read about that issue in the SD forum but can't find it now).
My buddy had a 2008 crew cab 4x4 diesel and it was a 4+1 spring pack, I stop and look at the 08 up body style trucks in parking lots and all I see is 4+1 packs so either Ford did go to a 4+1 pack in 2009 and I have bad luck and ever truck I look at must be a 09 up truck
