sunroof installation.
first let me say that this is very helpfull in obtaining knowledge about the bIIs. Ok. I have a 84 bII and it has the optional map light/clock installed from the factory on the head liner, and i plan to install a sun roof out of a 86 bII. but it looks like that distance between the map light and the dome light isnt enough to clear for the sunroof. and i want to use the head liner out of the 86 as well. basically my question is has anyone done this b4 or do they have the sunroof and the maplight clock combo. any sugestions will be greatly appreciated.

My overhead console has maplights and the electronic 4wd, with sunroof.
My prob is that I need something to seal it because it leaks. Right now it's sealed with electrical tape or some black tape over the edges (previous owner did it, have not opened the sunroof since I've owned it). Some people have told me I could use silicone sealant. Is this true?
