I just recently purchased and installed a 2100 carb with a 1.14 Venturi for a 351 Windsor. I transferred parts over from the other carb to the new one; however, I cant figure out the throttle linkage set up with the springs? (I guess thats what it's called?)
I bought a universal pack of springs and I am unsure of which would work for my carb.
When it comes to throttle return springs, basically it's "if it works, it works."
It just needs to:
A) Pull the throttle firmly back to idle when you let off the gas.
B) Not be so strong that your foot gets tired from holding it down.
That's really it.
Past that, just make sure there's no binding and you're good to go.
