So I picked up a 1st Gen Banks turbo kit for my 91 7.3 IDI but I bought the kit without any piping. I have the turbo, air box, intake hat, oil lines, and half of the down pipe because it got cut off. So is there any way I could find a crossover pipe for one of these? could an exhaust shop fab them up? Any help is appreciated
yes an exhaust shop can make the pipes if they are good. it 2 pipes from banks, but a shop would probably make it in 3 pieces.
and the down pipe is only about 2-2 1/2 foot long. then it connects to the exhaust pipes.
driver side pipe down, passenger side down and over to the driver side, then the two connect and go up to the pedestal.
last time i checked the crossover pipe setup was around $200 from banks direct.

their phone number is 1-800-601-8072 if you call ask for tech help., they will be able to set you up with the proper part numbers and price if you want to order new
the problem you'll have with having them made rather than buying direct from banks,is they wont flow as well because rather than being mandrel bent, they will be crimp bent.how drastic of a difference? i dunno if you'd actually feel anything or not,but the power wont be as high as a mandrel bent up cross over and dp system.
id personally just get them from banks.with ATS you would be SOL and have to do this because they dropped all support on us.banks is still here.would be a shame not to take advantage of it.as long as we support them, our support remains.
