Hood hinges 48-52 F1
I have a 49 F1. I bought in in pieces and I'm putting it together. I can't seen to figure out how to attach the hood hinges. Not the main one with the springs, but the smaller ones on the side. I just can't get the small hinges to attach to the hood. I have searched the Internet for pictures, but I can seem to find any good pictures at how they are mounted. Can someone post a picture or tell me how these things line up?
Also, the bolts that attach them. I bought some new boots and wave washers from Classic Haulers. I was bolting the hinges to the hood, just to see how they fit and once the bolts are installed there is still some play in the hinges at the bolt. I though they should be be tight. But once the bolt is ram all the way in there is still a gap bettwen the hinge and the bolt. Is there a spacer that goes there?
I know these are silly questions, but this truck was a part when I got it.
Thank you very much for the help.

Every 48-52 I've dealt with uses shouldered bolts. They don't tighten up against the linkages, in fact are pretty sloppy. They are tight against the shoulder. (not too tight or the welded-in nut will shear) The spring hinges carry all the weight, the linkages just give it direction. In the closed position the hood is against the cowl rubbers, and hood bumpers.
