Hi guy's I'm new to the forum, I just bought a 1991 F-150 super cab and it has the split bench in the front with the fold down arm rest. I'm hoping to switch it out for some nice bucket seats, are there any that are a direct bolt in? I tried to do some searching on here buy I mostly found info for single cabs. Thanks for the help.

Since a split bench with a fold down arm rest was not an option in 91, could you post a pic of what you have?
As for putting in buckets, YES, it is very simple since 50% of the supercabs trucks got them
Just be aware that if you use the factory captain's chairs, none of the holes will line up. Also you will need to brace the floor where you do eventually bolt the seats down. I did this conversion on my '91 and the floor cracked and split where I put the driver's seat. I am not huge, I weigh 210#, but it only took about 6 months for the floor to tear around the bolt holes. Trucks with factory captain's chairs have bracing underneath for this purpose.
If you want something that will bolt in, look for a 92-96 truck with the 40-20-40 seats. It has separate buckets and a center fold-down console and will bolt in place of your bench seat. This truck has the seat I am talking about: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...found-one.html

So only factory bucket seat equipped supercabs came with the bucket seat bracing?!?!
I assume you are talking a brick nose year?
And a 40/20/40 from a supercab bolts in just like factory buckets so you would be bracing the floor again. If you got a 40/20/40 from a reg cab or crewcab the seat does Not slide forward to access the rear of the cab, only supercab seats do that

Yes, mine is a '91, no bucket seat bracing with the bench seat.

Oh, my bad, I thought they bolted into the bench seat holes. My son has this seat in his '95, I will examine it and measure to be sure. I am sure you are right about the access to the rear, his does not do that (it's a regular cab).

Regular cab and crewcab 40/20/40s bolt in with just 4 bolts like a bench seat. And are a "complete" assembly
A supercab 40/20/40 seat bolts in using 8 bolts just like buckets do. The inner 4 bolts also hold down the center seat They go in as 3 separate seats

Well, yeah, OK, that's the one I was talking about. I said "if you want something that will bolt in" but, to be fair, I did not think about the access to the rear thing.
There is a "rib" that runs along the underside of the floor to brace it. The bench seat holes are on that rib, so that provides the bracing. However, the captain's chairs bolts are outside of the rib, so that's why they need extra, add-on bracing.
