I have not. Most people do not think spacers are a good idea. Better to save up and buy new rims with a different offset if that's what your trying to do.
Are they bolt-on spacers? Just torque them properly, and re-check torque after some drive time. You'll be fine. Might rub when turning full lock though.
Dually's have spacers up front... keep that in mind when someone says spacers are unsafe or whatever.
Spacers are not recommended as they put more strain on the wheel bearings. The spacers on a dually pickup are factory engineered and designed for that purpose.
True. The dually spacer is factory designed. It is also 4-5" not 1.5-2". And the front knuckles, bearings, ball joints are the same as a standard truck.

I wouldn't worry much about an inch and a half, what the OP is asking about.
Understand what you are saying about the dually pickups. Big spacers but the wheel offset basically puts them back in line with the hub face, so the offset of dually wheels vs. standard wheels is minimal from that point of view. I was merely talking about spacers in general. People love to claim that bolt on spacers are unsafe because they come loose, etc. That's the part that doesn't hold water and was the part I was speaking about.
