2007 ford f150 4.6l reving while in drive 20-30 mph
Hello everyone i have a question, serious question now i know nothing about vehicles as far as exuast and tire size. But what i want to ask is what is causing my 2007 ford f150 4.6l to rev up while in drive while im just costing. see i was at about 20-30 miles perhour and almost to 2 rmp and repeatedly my truck would rev in the range of 20 to 30 miles per hour for about 1 seconds but would go back to normal after that rev please help i love my truck to pieces please someone i really appreciate it if yall could help i rely on my truck for work and also while I was in Park at a target parking lot my truck began to rev up Wow and park I don't know what is causing this but if anyone has any suggestions are opinions please list them down in the down below I really appreciate your help thank you and have a nice day

Haven't done anything. It still happens from time to time. As soon as it happens, it's over. Might happen once a week or so, and never more than once on a given day that I can recall.
Just bumping your thread in case someone else might know what the issue could be.
I don't know about yours but mine doesn't illuminate the check engine light or anything else like that when it happens. I do get a flashing overdrive light/message on odometer screen saying 'trans fault' when creeping in traffic on a hot day for extended periods of time, though. That has happened three times. I shut the truck off and restarted and it went away. Gotta get the powertrain codes checked by Ford for that one.
