Long story short, and much to my own.....well....Im an idiot.
v10 with 220k miles on it, and has been running on 1.5 to 2 qts of oil since...well...honestly probably going on a year.
It has spit and sputtered here and there, and lacked some zip...but I am blown away by the oil change I just finished.
I started it and it's like a new truck. Like no...seriously....a new happy...normal....engine.
Yeah, as I drained out every drop I could that fact painfully pinged at my forehead.
The thing that confuses me most is that it was never that low on the dipstick, and it never popped any lights or codes or cel, so I was thinking it had to be something like the double drain plugs in my stang. I'm gunna be checking the level like every gas stop now though...when she needs a rebuild, I'm obligated to give her one for the abuse I've put her through anyways.
