Hood Latch

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement hood latch or parts for a 60 F-100. The safety latch works fine but I have to bungee cord to keep the hood from bouncing up and down while driving.

Thanks.

Nice truck!

We're on similar paths, as the latch ion mine need securing; the retaining bolts being loose. I have to cut them out and reweld new as they're enclosed in sheet metal.

Hold down CTRL key, tap on + key to expand the parts catalog pic.

You'll see 3 different springs on the hood latch. Pick out the number(s) you want and post it, I'll see if anyone has it.

Would you be able to check on all 3 for me? I know I need 2 of them and I would hate to order the wrong one.

Get yourself a 1957/63 Ford Truck Parts Catalog (available on a C/D from hipoparts.com), look up the part numbers, then go to PartsVoice.com and rearcounter.com

Type the numbers into the box (don't use spaces or hyphens). If anyone (Ford dealer and/or obsolete parts vendor) has the part(s), their names/phone numbers will appear.
