FX4 off road package

I've found a new F150 at a near by dealer that is very close to what I would order. Its a SuperCrew XLT, 5.5'bed. One option it has that I don't need is the FX4 off road package. The concern is will the "off road" tuned shocks give a harsh "on road"ride ? It also has 20" wheels which I believe will give me a harder ride. I have no plans on going off road other then a gravel driveway. Thanks for your feedeback.

Saturday, I bought the 2015 Supercrew XLT w/5.5' bed, which has the FX4 package and it rides very nice. I wouldn't worry about it.

I have the fx4 and it is fine in the city but I also have the 18" rims

FX4 basically gives you shields for the gas tank and transfer case. And lower gears in the axles. And the FX4 decal. Maybe a limited slip?

You also get an e-lock diff and hill-decent. I ordered mine and didn't want to carry the shields around all the time so that essentially the only option I didn't put on my Platinum.

I wouldn't worry too much. The fx4 has a few off road traits but is still pretty much a regular f150. I bet comparatively few see anything but roads. And a truck is a truck after all, no truck will ride like a Cadillac.
