Engine advice- Little spicy

That's the problem.... the 35-255-5 camshaft is a flat tappet camshaft.... I have a roller lifter engine. I must have read wrong as I had assumed from that post that I did NOT have a roller engine and therefore NEEDED a flat tappet camshaft..... I need a roller camshaft as my engine is roller otherwise I need to install longer pushrods and from what I read going back to a flat tappet is a step backwards.....

I don't think you can do that. I think the profiles on the lobes are cut differently to allow solid lifters to rotate in their bores.
Thanks for the help guys. I am so inexperienced with V8 and I should have asked more questions instead of assuming..... I appreciate the help.
