Hoping to get some help from other folks running Red's Headers on their Y-Blocks.
I went to swap out the plugs last week only to discover that 4 of the 8 are pretty much blocked by the header pipes. I would really prefer not to remove the headers to get to the plugs, so wondering how others have tackled this--a cut down socket perhaps, or a special tool to get the plug moving?
Can you get a spark plug socket on them? If you can, use a wrench on the end of the socket. Remember spark plug sockets are designed different then ordinary deep sockets thus allowing for the use of a wrench on the end.
I have headers on my 292 and this is how I remove my spark plugs.

Yes, that'll work. Funny, seems obvious after I saw your reply, but doubt I would have come up with this on my own.
