Then you ran the fold and telescope wires under.the dash? Or am I missing what you're saying? I see that in my original post to this thread, I mentioned the folding relay despite you saying you had it already.
I'm trying to get this set up on my dad's truck, but the passenger side door harness is on backorder. The driver's side harness is off from a 2014, so it's possible the plugs don't match up to the switches. Any insight or further explanation would be appreciated. By the way, according to the dealer, '08-'10 door harnesses are obsolete.
I can't imagine the '09 & up harnesses are much different. Of course pin locations or colors may have changed. But that's why you don't rush and triple check everything. I bought a new harness for the driver side-so yes it was plug and play. I just needed to add the wires/pin pigtails to the cab harness, and run the wires from the cab plugs to the relay, and a constant power source. I also used the wires from the old harness to add on the passenger side to correct pin location. I think it was only 4 wires i needed to add. The dealer can provide you with wiring diagrams that show you pin locations. Or I have all my stuff I can send you. I actually had some help from a guy who did the swap on an 05.

Thanks! I should have said that the plug shape might not match up to the switch plug shape. I haven't checked yet. I would appreciate if you could send me the info you have. My parents are camping for a few more days so there isn't a rush.
Just so it's clear in my ADHD mind, you added the wires/pin pigtails to the cab harness under the dash near the headlight switch and ran the wires to the relay?
On the passenger side you added the needed wires for the stock door harness which plugs into the mirror connector on one end and on the other end into the molex connection between the body and door? From there, the body harness contained the proper wires?
I have already added these mirrors to my 06 King Ranch, but I didn't have to mess with the Molex connection. I've read where guys have drilled out empty spots and run wiring directly through the connectors, but I don't want to risk screwing that up.

OK let's try this again. On my truck, the factory wiring in the dash included the harness for the relay, but that wiring went to other places other than the cab harness door plugs. So I simply cut the wires for the mirror functions on the relay harness, and spliced on my new wiring. I had to make up the pins on both the door harness and the cab side harness plug. The nice thing with the older trucks, is they didn't use these cab/door plugs. It was just a hole in the door with a flexible conduit. Definitely easier. But I wanted to keep it factory looking. If you already added them to an 06, the install is really the same, except for the molecular connectors.

I see. I assumed all 2008s had the molex connectors as someone with an 07 said they had them too. I guess I can wait for the new passenger harness or get a wiring diagram from the dealer. I assume the parts department or should I ask my technician buddy? Thanks for your help clarifying. Unfortunately I struggle with this on most everything.

Don't stress over it. I went over the wiring diagrams and pictures from other installations for over a year before attempting this. The molecular connector on the door and cab had me nervous. But I studied the wiring diagrams, wrote everything down in a note book as to wire colors and pin locations. The passenger side on my truck was really only 4 wires that I added for the telescoping and folding functions. But if you have memory functions on your truck, that is a little different. Check eBay if you can't get a new harness for the passenger side. I actually have a brand new passenger side harness for an 08 with memory for sale. I bought it thinking I could use it, but pin locations were different, and I didn't want to mess it up by moving them around. And it was to late to return it to Tasca parts. I'll send the info I have this week. I just have to find some of it on my computer.

did you ever get these figured out on your 13? I'm looking to do the same thing but don't know what I need other than the harness.

2001 F450

I also am looking to upgrade my Cab and Chassis 165in F450 NON power mirror to power and folding. Anyone out there build a kit or is this 100% experiment and troubleshoot?
