Adding factory fifthwheel prep

Has anyone added a factory fifth wheel prep kit to their truck? I have a 2015 250 and it has dimples in the bed pretty close to where the bracket is supposed to bolt in. Are these dimples accurate? My kit didn't come with instructions.

You should be able to contact Reese via email and they can send you instructions for installing the under bed items.

see if this video at E-Trailer will help you

Thanks for the help, I got the local dealership to print out the instructions for me and there is quite a bit of difference between the two. The factory system requires 3" and 4 1/4" holes but the dimples in the bed are for reference and these are the points to drill.

old post I know, hate to resurrect, but I'm looking for the 2011-2016 instructions as well, any chance anyone has a copy?

Here are the measurements for the hole locations in the bed. As noted, the dimples in the bed should be appropriate for centering reference. I have the entire set of instructions around here somewhere, so I can probably find anything else you need.

Yep that works. I guess sometimes I just like reading the instructions so there’s no surprises when I get into a job like this. Was planning to scrape bed liner to find the dimples, this will help a lot. If you do find the rest of the instructions, let me know, maybe you can just email me a bunch of photos .

thanks!

Hmm I tried to reply but I don’t think it posted.

thanks for the image, that’ll help find the dimples, I’m going to scrape away bed liner until I see them. If you do find the rest of the instructions I’d love to take a read of them, something where I’m doing a bit of work I like to know what surprises I’ll have. Also, there are a couple bolts with the package. I think they’re a torx plus, the instructions say what size they are? I’m going to have to order a size for the bed bolts and that kit by the looks of it
