Evening guys.
Actually 4 survived. Two of them were hiding in the woods.
I found a guy in East Haven on craigslist that had 10 one year old hens so I went and got them this afternoon so now we have a flock of 14.
I what to say thanks to all the vets and current enlisted guys for your service to our great country.
Hope everyone here in CT gets to enjoy Memorial Day with Family & Friends and of course your Ford of choice!
I'll be working an outside gig all day so really can't complain...after hour 10 maybe!!
Remember to keep in mind all that have allr already paid the ultimate price and other who have sacrificed so much so we here in the Homeland are Safe and able to enjoy the Liberties that we do...also all those who today stand willing and ready to "take up the fight" wherever it may be so we can remain Free.
Thanks guys. The move went as smoothly as I anticipated. We were all packed up in the truck, and everything moved to the house by 10:00am Saturday. All done, with everything in the house by about 1pm. Plenty of organizing and figuring out what will go where, but got the bulk of that accomplished over the last couple days. Already enjoying the back yard.
I appreciate all the offers for trucks and trailers guys. Cali is real weird about stuff like that, so we just ended up paying for a u-haul. Some battles just aren't worth fighting.
We enjoyed ours and the weather co-operated. Major accomplishment smoked pork ribs for 8 hours and they were devoured quickly. They were a hit and I was pleased.
Tomorrow oil change in morning. Kathy home this week and will have me painting interior and I guess it needs it.
Sounds like you had a good weekend John! Your ribs sound tasty!

Should be, there isn't much to the system. The previous owner converted it to coil springs, and I changed it back over a year and a half ago. Most likely either a blown out bag or a bad height sensor. We will see tomorrow.
Tom, a sensor would be easy. Hope that's all it is.
Getting ready to leave for the oil change. Noticed when I shut the truck off that there is a motor running for 1/2 a minute or so in the back of the truck assuming that it is the fuel pump. Have to ask questions today.

Bummer.. Hope it's not a $$$ repair.
My Town Car's air bags act weird and lose their air over night every so often. It's perfectly fine for a week or two. Then one morning I come out and the rear suspension has decided to become a Low-Rider. It pumps back up in about 90 seconds and then stays put for another several days.
When the rear end is down like that, it's hard to get the car up on the flat bed. The exhaust and rear bumper scrape on the ground as it's winched up the tilted ramp.
Morning everyone, hope your weekends were great! Looks like a new truck may be in my future by the end of this coming winter, hopefully around the end of February or March. Plenty of time to decide if I want an F350 super cab long bed or crew cab short bed
If you decide to go the VW way let me know. My youngest brother is a VW Bug freak and works at Bug City in Newington and I can have him put the word out.
Thanks Greg! I'll definitely let you know when the time comes!

Might be, but I'm not sure. The height sensor slipped off the stud. Not sure if the corroded stud was the problem or a sign of impending sensor failure. The sensor is $230, so hope it's not that!

That's odd, do both sides deflate? You may have a solenoid problem, they are supposed to seal the bags until receiving the command to inflate or deflate. If only one side deflates you probably have an intermittently leaky bag.

They had a hell of a time with it. They ended up jacking the hitch off the ground and keeping the car stationary while they winched the truck underneath. Very ninja-like in their towing abilities.
The rear axle was in the air for this photo. Good thing Curt builds a sturdy hitch!
