Howdy Rick. Yes it did. We have a great breeze right now which is cooling the house down from today. Got the officiAl word on the issues with the a/c system as well. The tech figured out that a transformer popped on the furnace which made everything stop working. Then the condenser still wouldn't power on. So whatever took out the transformer took out the condenser as well. So we get to put a new a/c unit in.

Cool! You have a service agreement for all of that?
The company that put the new furnace in back in November and installed everything 23 years ago closed a few months ago. The owner passed away from a heart attack. So no service contract for the transformer on the furnace do we had to pay the labor. Cost 322 bucks to replace that to find out the a/c unit gave up the ghost after 23 years of service. So we are going to get an estimate tomorrow to see what it will cost to replace it.

We had a condenser unit fail in 2003 and was $1400. at that time. 23 years is 3 years past life expectancy.
