Hey I was wondering if anybody could answer some questions for me I got a 1992 ford Idi with the ATS turbo but I went to go get an alignment and they said I had a sheared bolt on part of my axle that was givin them hell cause they couldn't get the alignment right cause some how the axle kept moving back and forth or something to that nature has anyone heard if this or have had this problem thanks for ur help
I's not a shered bolt as any bolt that is part of alignment sheard youd defently know or it wouldnt drive.
The way you described what the alignment shop is doing tells me there a bunch of idiots and you need to go somewhere where they know what they are doing. ANY reputable alignment shop checks all your steering and front suspension parts for wear and wont do an alignment until its fixed (or you tell them to do it anyways), I'd save your money and find a better shop.
Onto your problem, you profile says you have an f250, be it 2wd or 4wd your likely issue is destroyed pivot bushing that would act like a broken bolt and make it imposible to align, I'd check all the rubber bushings in your front end and replace any that look even remotely bad.
Hey thanks a bunch for y'all's help I got another question my truck died the other morning I went to turn it on to let the glow plugs warm up it was clicking really fast like the controller for the glow plugs was going out and then all of a sudden it stopped like the batteries died so I tried to turn it on and it was dead so is this just bad batteries or is the controller going out AGAIN haha? Thanks for the help either way.

welcome to FTE.
if the "sheared bolt" they were refering to is the axle centering pin on a 4 wheel drive truck, i can see it happening. and if they let you leave the shop without replacing it they should be shut down for letting an unsafe vehicle drive out of there.
as for the no start, it sounds like dead batteries.
