[I]Well I have 2 1979 fords, 150 step side and a 250 long bed lifted, a 1983 150. All 4x4's. Then I picked this up for $800 interior is great the guy couldn't start it and the trans was replaced and it shifts to 3rd and even got it to 4th one time on drive home dually all new tires and brakes, it really was a steal. But I have never encountered this tranny, no codes are showing for the trans, how do I tell what year is the e40d? Thanks for any help since trans has less than 200 miles on it. The truck is a 1989 f 350 2wd dual 4 door e40d trans with the 460,
