Newbie, help with leveling kit or lift kit

Hi, I have a 2000 f250 all stock, I never bought a leveling or lift kit before. I need help or suggestions on picking between a 2.5 leveling kit or a 4 inch lift kit??? Going to get 20" rims and 35 tires.

This is my truck

I agree. My 02 had an Icon 4.5" lift and 35's. It was perfect for what I used it for. It would do well off-road and still haul our 5th wheel without issues.

I have a 4" - 4Link BDS, while I have nothing to compare it to, I'm very happy with it, and they have an outstanding warranty.

Sitting on 20"x10" Wheels & 35x12.5x20 Toyo's.

Yes it did. I ordered mine from Marty at Truck Lift Kits, Sus*****on Lift Kits, Lift Kits for Truck | Truck Toyz - Truck Toyz Store . They were really easy to deal with and answered all my questions on the phone. Give them a call if you have any questions.

Yikes, just looked at icon, there kit is around $1600 not including shocks. Carli is out- just called they dont make anything before a 05. Pure performance according to their website does not look like they do kits for a 99-04 unless i am just looking in the wrong place.

It's all good, you would think that they would supply those to get all the customers they can.

BDS your right. It is still a good system, and it has a good price compared to icon even icon is a very good product.

I know they all have a 4" kits except rancho there is also superlift and pro comp though I don't really recommend pro comp if you have a 5.4. Superlift is the only one that has springs for the specifically for 5.4 v8

I think I might stick with bds, its the best bang for the buck and still give a good ride, ya know? Plus for bds even though I have a 5.4 i would order the diesel springs because there rated stronger since I snow plow, If they offer that.
