Went to the local Ford dealer for first oil change before picking up our 5th wheel camper and was talking to the service manager about how I wish Ford gave us more torque on my 2015 6.2. He thinks the 6.2 is plenty soft from the factory, he told me I should chip it. I said huh, and asked him about tunes, and he was telling me that they don't bother to routinely check, or care to check for tunes, but if they want to find a tune, they can dig deep enough and find that the original programing has been changed by the mark it will leave when tuning, deep in the computer, even if the original tune was put back in. Strange warranty claims on parts is where they raise their heads. The oil burners are who they are really looking at, as those guys are trying to get more out of the new trucks. Looks like I will pull a little more stock to figure out the truck, then look at a 5 star. This is my dealer, not sure all dealers are like this. Hopes this helps.
