yes, under dash above tranny hump to the left abit.

I think that may be the air bag module.

That's the airbag diagnostic monitor. Only blue module on the whole truck.

when i turned key on it was beeping at me. is it bad?

No, it beeps at you when the airbag warning light (on the gauge cluster) is burned out or otherwise inop.

ok, i unplugged it. ill have to see if light comes on next time i turn key. thanks for the help guys.

I'll tell you right now the light won't come on unless the module (the blue box) is plugged in.
