Speedometer help
I just finished a major overhaul of my 1979 F250 camper special with a 400/c6. I put new tires on, which threw the speedometer out. It's reading about 25km/h slow. When I'm doing 85 it only says 60. I have a 17 tooth gear and tried every where in town to get a smaller gear, I figure 14 tooth will
Get it pretty close but NO ONE sells anything smaller than 17. Not ford, any driveline shop, a speedometer shop, not even ford or LMC truck. Anyone have any information that could lead me in the right direction?
