Front clip compatibility

I'm on the '80-'86 forum but have a question about the the '87 F150: Can you bolt the clip from an '87-90 "Bricknose" onto a 1996-1997 F150? The front fenders on the "Bricknose" have rounded wheel openings like the bedside wheel openings of a '96-97'.

Yes you will need fenders hood core support and header panel

I believe he's referring to the part that sits in front of the core support that the lights and grille attach to.
