Do bolt patterns match up from 78-96?

I have a friend with a 78, and I might have a line on a really cheap set of wheels and tires for him. But they are off of a 1994 Bronco, and my buddy's is a 1978. Is the bolt pattern, and wheel offset the same? Thanks!

the bolt pattern will work for sure. I am unsure what the typical offset for the 78/79 broncos typically is? I would think anything from 3"-4"

what size are the tires?

He says the biggest he can fit is 32" tires, but the set that I found a deal on, are 33's. So he would need to do at least a small body lift. The Bronco is being built for a hunting rig, so a little extra ground clearance wouldn't hurt anyways! Thanks for your reply
