I noticed when I pulled the turbo that the bolt on the passenger side in the rear had come just slightly loose. Now that you mention it, that's probably my leak. Thanks, Fordman.
Edit- I'll clean up the manifolds, and try running it after I finish reassembling everything. We'll see if that fixes it.
Edit #2- The turbo pedestal having oil spray out in the rear would explain why the top of the up pipes are clean. oil would hit midway on the up pipe, and run down.
Yeah, they were new. I have another set of new ones, too. I'll try tightening the back first. I'm gonna be an Indiana pit crew at getting this turbo on/off before long. Thanks, Talyn.
Figured out it was the EGR Feedback sensor that broke off. Can I run it for a day without that? The new one gets in hopefully tomorrow night.
Well, guys. Good news, and "not as good" news. The stroker is running. The stroker is also losing tons of fuel. The top of the black fuel line on the fuel pressure regulator refuses to seal. I've adjusted it probably a half dozen times. I bought a "high pressure" line from Dieselorings, but did I need to? Could I go to Oreilly, and buy just normal fuel line, then cut it an inch long, so I can sleeve more of the metal line, and double up on clamps? That's about the only thing I can think of. Short of a rag in the fuel tank, that is.
Edit- My leak is also coming partially from the fuel pressure regulator body. Is there any way to get just the regulator?... I've looked around, and it looks like my options are an all new fuel bowl, or and all new fuel bowl. While it would be nice upgrade, I'm getting tired of slapping this engine with money.
