Hey all, new around here. I tried a search but didn't find anything that gave me clarity.
Will a 17x7.5" wheel with a 1.75" off set and 6" back spacing fit a 67? I know ours has a 4" backspacing but I'm unsure if the off set of 1.75" gets us closer to the 4" backspacing or further away. I know the tire is gonna be a factor too but just curious if it's even possible. Thanks
Don't know if the link above will help you figure out the answer to your question but, if you have stock wheels/tires on the truck now, deductive reasoning suggests if the normal backspacing is ~4" and the wheels you want to use have 6" backspacing, you will have an increase in backspacing of 2".
If you currently have the stock wheels/tires on now, take a tape measure, or a 2" long object, place it on the inside of the tire and rotate it around with the tire to see if it contacts anything.
If it clears without contact, turn the wheels all the way in (both directions) and check again.
