Hey guys, the plastic lever on my door lock cylinder that the rod attached to the door latch has broken. Does anybody have a part number for these, or do you have to purchase a new lock cylinder?
I see ones that look almost identical on eBay, but they are listed for a Ford Taurus and other Ford models, just not our 92-96 trucks.
I can't find a part number for the F series, just in cars.
Ok this is what your looking for part#1521970 or 21970 from what I gather since you cant buy this from Ford as you can tell from the link below. It looks as if Ford wants you to replace the whole cylinder. I just bought and replaced 3 of these 2 doors and 1 Ignition from ebay and they had them on the cylinder it cost about 91.00$ or you could try F3LY6321970A for cars and vans for 5$ on ebay they look damn near identical and I'd rather take a chance on 5$ then spend 91$ if I didn't have to. I on the other hand didn't have a choice I needed a Ignition Cylinder and wanted my doors to be keyed the same so I bought the whole set. Sorry i couldn't be more help best of luck.
