Door Lock cylinder hardware
Need the piece of plastic that goes on the back side of the key door lock cylinder and connects the lock cylinder to a rod that works the lock mechanism. My part is cracked so that I am able to lock the door with the key but can't unlock it with the key.This part is for a 94 Explorer drivers side door. Ford dealer tells me I need to buy the whole lock cylinder which is like $50. Hate to spend that much for the sake of a $1.50 piece of plastic not to mention that I would need to have 2 keys for the vehicle instead of one! Tried looking online for parts sources like "HELP" or JC Whitney with no luck. Don't really want to use a junk yard part as I'm sure this frail piece of plastic won't last very long from a junk vehicle. Any one have any ideas? Thanks
