? Does anyone know the pin outs for the ford snyc lockpick, the pinouts I need are for a 2013 Ford Expedition with sync. I need the reverse trigger wire and the monitor trigger wire inputs, the reason for this is, I don't like the front camera auto function on the lockpick so I ordered a front n rear parking switcher for the cameras. It works by reverse trigger to activate when the reverse gear is ingauged then switches over to front camera for 10 seconds then cuts out.
Ok well I've spent practically at day yesterday searching the forums for the radio harness to the truck, I have the oem radio with snyc/w aftermarket backup camera with a lockpick, if anyone has the wiring harness info for it. But anyway I have a good start on which wires to start of with, I just can't find any info on how to trigger the radio to activate the screen, as do any project I start I will keep everyone posted on or if it works once I get the switcher.
Ok so after hours of research i keep coming across info on pin 6 of the 24 pun connector as a 12 reverse trigger, pin 6 is what powers the back up mirrors 12v power, I still haven't figured what pin triggers the radios video feed. I'll keep updating as I find more info
Ok so yesterday I tapped into pin 6 n no luck it wasn't the reverse trigger wire. So I will have to find a green/brown wire on the passenger side kick panel to tap into, that should be the reverse light wire, also no luck on tapping into the monitor trigger, so tomorrow I'm hacking into the lock pick wires myself to see what wires trigger the screen, time to play hard ball
Ok well I've tryed splicing ever wire connected to the lockpick but still couldn't figure out how to active the screen, so after hours of research n splicing wires I'm giving up on this project, oh well!
