I've replaced what's shows as the CHT in the photo but cannot for the life of me fine the ECT. Everyone seems to have a different answer on where it is while some say the 99 doesn't have the ECT. I've gotten some saying its under the intake manifold but before going down that road I was wondering If anyone could confirm from experience. Reason for wanting to change the sensors is a code showing the engine is -40 degrees and won't start. Any help is greatly appreciated!
The CHT sensor is located in the red circle, I'm pretty sure you can't get to that without removing the intake, as the coolant line is integrated with the intake if I'm not mistaken. The 3V has the coolant line and the intake manifold separated, but the CHT is moved deeper in so still need to remove the intake..

Yeah, the CHT was really easy to get to just by removing the alternator. We've looked all along the cooling lines and just about everywhere else we can imagine for the ECT but have come up empty.
