Anyone running these shocks or have experience with them? Look like a good monotube shock. With a $55 mail in rebate the total per shock right now through auto anything would be $63.20 per shock.
I used to have the base skyjacker shocks on my old f350 and had no complaints. I used them to replace the bilstein shocks that i had on it and i couldnt tell a difference between them. I think that for the price you wont find much if anything better.
Thank you. I have the oem rancho's and after 10 years and 145,000 I figure it's probably time to replace them. I have been tempted to go back with the same shocks but am torn between these skyjackers.
i know most people love bilstein shocks but the ones i had were junk, the top mount on the shocks kept breaking off and my truck was never taken off road either. i never had any problems after i swapped them for the skyjacker shocks. hope you have better luck
I have Skyjacker on my old 350. Shocks were great but started to lose the paint and rust up after a short time.
In the rust belt that's with ANY shock, my skyjackers were two to two and a half years old before they started to get a surface rust. Simple sand, primer and paint with two coats of clear and they are looking new still another years later
