I have a 1978 F150 Ranger Lariat that is Dark Brown Metallic/Cream. I'm trying to find out exactly what the interior colors are or what the equivalent would be. The interior paint code is KZ which I understand is Saddle but it seems much darker than what I'm finding. I've had to purchase new door panels and am trying to match to the original color. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I went here to find my Fresno Cloth seat material. Most of our trucks seat upholstery is no longer reproduced. These guys carry a close matching material that you will have to have upholstered. Or hit junkyards and look for a replacement....maybe find a parts lariat on craigslist for cheap? Good luck!
Best way would be to take your old door panel to an auto body supply shop. They should be able to provide a close match for you. A local shop was able to match the blue on my Lariat door panel inserts. I redid the sun visors & dash pad while I had the paint loaded in the gun. It was SEM brand vinyl dye. Its good stuff!
You will probably have to apply the new color with a spray gun. Unless you are really lucky & can find a spray can that is close.
