Remote Transmitter/Receiver?
Where is the receiver for the key fob/power locks located in the Excursion? Is it part of the GEM or is it its own unit?
Does anyone know if it's a universal part used in other Ford vehicles?
I'm wondering if it's got an unused connection on it for cars/trucks with a power tailgate. If I paired it with a remote that had the tailgate/trunk release button, could I use that to do something... Turn on auxiliary lights, roll down the windows... Something.
