Alright I finally got a little lead way on a project that I've been working on and now ran into a little problem. Here's a little run down. The original truck is a 1990 f250 extended cab long bed 460 5 speed. From new it was ziebart'ed and well I have three spots in the frame where I can put my fist through and the bottom of the "C" channel frame is no longer there. And the cab needs a whole new floor, doors, cab corners, rockers, basically cab is shot. The frame I'm using is an 87 that has been sandblasted and powdercoated with a 94 cab. The problem is where the main wiring harness comes out the firewall on the 1990 is circle and on the 1994 are two rectangles. I didn't know if there was an adapter that has been made or if someone knew the pins to swap the plugs or what.
If anyone can help I'd appreciate it Thanks in advance.
Wow.... No idea what the heck you said until the end.
No one makes an adaptor plug to go from round to rectangle. You can either swap the whole dash and wiring from the 90 into the 94, or find a 460 engine harness, or if the 94 was speed density, you can use that harness on the 460 with a little tweaking. If it's maf, then you can buy a 460 maf computer and plug it in, and alter the original harness a little.
