faulty eatc unit

faulty eatc unit
So this morning when I started my truck ( 2005 f350 4x4 drw) the eatc failed to power up. I am aware of the parking light trick and yes it work. I'm wondering if anybody knows what causes the eatc to not power up. This has happened once or twice a year since my truck was new. Any advice will be greatly appreciated

I did have it replaced while under warranty, only to have the problem return. I believe it is something other than the unit itself. I really think it has to do with the relay in the instrument cluster. Has any one else had the problem return after replacing the unit
