EGR Problems!
Hey everyone I just bought a early 95 f150 xl. It has the 4.9, 4x4, e4od. I noticed the speedometer and od were out and it shifted rough and found a bad fuse and that cured that. Then the CEL was on and I get code 332. maybe it was on the whole time. Anyway I checked the vacuum canister looked ok, sprayed cleaner on all of the hoses and propane, only found a leak to the FPR and replaced that. I then replaced the EGR. Same code again even after pulling the paperclip midway in the test and driving a few miles. Could the first catalytic converter be clogged? Is there a certain amount of exhaust that goes through the tube? Im going to pick up a hand held vacuum pump and check for leaks tomorrow. Is there a code for clogged cat? Hope Im not missing anything.
