How does Cyclops "no start" work?

I haven't used my truck since November, and haven't had a battery tender on it, so the batteries are a tad low. I wasn't too concerned about it, and figured on charging them last week.

I went to do just that, and found someone had punched in the door lock, and popped the ignition switch key hole off, and broken the gear shift. They didn't steal it though, cuz the batteries were low. They also took my Sirius Satellite Sportster radio.

A low battery can be a deterrent as well.
