2015 delete and tuner??

What's up guys I'm about to delete my 2015 6.7 and was wondering if some of you had it done and what you did to it? What are the pros and cons of what you did and if you could go back and change it what would you do? I'm thinking I'm going to do a 5" straight pipe with egr delete and an air intake with a 6" or 7" tip. I want the growl and the jet engine sound and a real louder whistle. Any advice to achiev this is appreciated. This should increase my mileage and overall life of the truck I've heard?? Any tips feel free to chime in

You'll get the growl with a 5" straight pipe for sure. If you do a full EGR delete, or just the block off plates, go ahead and order some quality bolts to replace the junk Ford has, especially the two on top of the exhaust manifold.

I think the only tuner for the 2015 is a SCT, either the X4 or livewire, I'm sure there are several offering custom tunes though, I have no idea where to go with those.

Thanks for the response RigTrash! I was looking into getting the SCT x4. Not so worried about the added HP because these things are ridiculous as it is! I would probably leave it on the 1st setting at all times but more worried about the damage the DPF and EGR causes. Heard thats what causes like 90% of the problems. The sweet sound doesn't hurt either

I don't think you will have the same sound as on the earlier trucks..
I think you will have more of the 'rocketship' whoosh sound, output of the turbo. when I did the delete on my 08, I hated that sound.

Straight pipe is going to get you the sound your looking for. I love the way my 6.7 sounds straight piped. You won't get the waste gate screech the first gen 6.7 has either, videos of straight piped 2nd gen 6.7s on you tube sound great without that screech

Mine isn't bad at all, I'm just running a 4" with a resonator, I guess that got rid of alot of the waste gate sound. I actually sounds & smells like a diesel truck now!

Thanks for the input guys! Been watching all the videos on youtube and they sound good but its different in videos you know? and I have only seen maybe 1 video with a drive by and not idling in a garage and stomping on the pedal. Im sure ill be happy no matter what. Ive noticed the 15s have less of a whistle though compared to 11-14. Hopefully it is loud!

I can't say from experience, but have been told the 5" isn't real loud until you put her under load like towing heavy.

hey guys so quick question to 440club Did you end deleting everything for your 2015? how did it go and what did you end up going with especially in regards to the tuner? I own a 2015 as well that i would love to delete the emission crap but want to make sure i get it done right without any issues. My trucks my life for work, put on average a 2500 to 4000 miles a month and can't afford to have any major issues arise if i do end up deleting it. If you can give me any feedback with how yours went and what you used and any other tips i greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Ben

Hey haven't been on here in forever! But I went with the sct x4 tuner from Rudys diesel. Go there for parts. I gained about 2-4 mpg overall due to no dpf cleaning. The sound is awesome overall. Loud jet engine/ growl at idle. Real loud jet engine at low rpm. Hey engine and screech at higher Rpms. I love the sound and am happy with my decision deleting it
