Why do you want 1.7 rockers? Those heads don't flow any more past 0.500" lift so it's just more strain on the valvetrain for no reason.

I guess he thinks these are gonna be some magic fix to his obvious issue.

The average lift is increased by going with higher ratio rockers, which is advantageous despite the inability to flow anymore at max lift, where the valve spends very little time.
