Floor Covering

I took the rubber floor out of my truck so I could patch up all those evil rust holes in the floor, and while the floor was laying around it got some rips in it. Since I don't really want to spend $80 on a new one, would some of that brush on bedliner stuff work well for a floor?? Or would that be too loud with no sound deadener? Thanks

Thats what I am doing! The roll on bedliner is going on the floors soon, it will be a easy to clean covering, not sure about sound or insulation

it'd probably work good. if sound insulation is what you want, roll on a couple of layer. you can spread some of that stuff a 1/4" thick. they use stuff like that in car audio to sound/rattle proof a car.

did this to a friends truck, use grease on any fasteners and between the flanges on the the hump cover or it will weld it solid to get the noise reduction he wanted we also did the bottom side what mess but it really quieted the cab
