Well I do have oil pressure, but the oil pressure light is on and gauge doesn't move, this happens intermittantly. I believe the electric connector at the sending unit is dirty, if I wiggle it, and spray with cleaner it goes away for a while. How do I disconnect the plug?? It feels like there is a very small tab at the top, pressing it does nothing. Before I have a heart attack from seeing the O.P. Light coming on at 75 mph, can someone tell me how to disconnect it so I can give it a through cleaning.
When you have trouble taking something apart on a vehicle, like an electrical connector that's hard to see/get to, look it up on Rockauto, and look at various vendors pics for the part. That way you can figure out exactly where/how the tab to push in or pull out or whatever on the connector must be.
I had trouble with an A/C pressure switch, until I looked up a pic of it online, and seeing a nice clear pic, it was so simple I felt a bit foolish. But at least I didn't just muscle it and break it.

I've had mine off, there's a tab which I think you push down on. I replaced my sensor, I think it's a 13/16" socket that fits it. With a bunch of extensions and a u-joint you can get it out from the rear of the left front wheel well. (Mine is a 2001 with the 5.4).
