Need Help!
Hey everyone, I'm pulling my hair out on this one. Late 99 7.3l. 250k miles. Just bought it a few months ago. Can't get rid of this p1316 code for the life of me! Changed UVCG and harness on both sides. Resistance from 42 pin is 3.1 ohms on every single injector. Buzz test keeps saying cyl 5 &8 high/low open. I've pulled VC's on this thing 4 times in the last week and I'm getting pretty dang fast. Lol. Found a few armature plates somewhat loose so I re tightened them, checked clearances. All @ .002". Ohm'd each solonoid and all 2.9. Still can't get rid of the code. Icp and ipr dc at idle and wot are great. SES light is not constant. Comes on and off usually within first 10 miles of driving. Then comes on occasionally under load but goes out right away. Truck runs great. Not missing, no lack of power (that I know of, had this problem when I bought it). Are my only other options injectors or bad idm? Thanks everyone!
